How to find us? The museum is located in the anatomical building complex in Riga, Kronvalda boulevard 9. Entrance to the museum through the gate from Kronvalda boulevard.
At what age is the anatomy museum suitable for visitors? The museum is aimed at visitors from the age of 14. Younger visitors will also be welcome at the Anatomy Museum, but it should be noted that the museum's exhibits are organs, body parts and embryos, including pathological ones, so part of the exhibition may be of concern to younger visitors. For children under the age of 14, it is recommended to visit only accompanied by an adult.
Warning: There are collections of embryology and congenital anomalies in the basement of the museum, which may be alarming for some visitors. Please consider whether you want to visit the parts of the exposition located in the basement.
Can the museum exposition be comprehended without a guide? Yes. You will find the texts, illustrations and animations (in Latvian and English) that will help you to understand the exposition. The individual visit of the museum will be facilitated by the mobile application RSU Museum (in Latvian, English and Russian). It can be downloaded to a personal device (phone or tablet) or used on a device that can be rented during a museum visit.
How long does it take to visit the museum individually? An individual visit of the museum takes about one hour. The museum's exposition is 300 square meters and is arranged on two floors.
Environmental accessibility? The museum is accessible to people with disabilities (elevator, no steps at the entrance, possibility to drive directly to the museum).
